Pioneer Institute released a survey conducted by Opinion Diagnostics of 665 respondents in Hampden County, Massachusetts. The survey was fielded February 24-27, 2026, and has a margin of error of ±3.8%.
Key findings
88.2% support expanding access to vocational-technical high schools, rising to 90% after respondents heard more information.
88.7% support increasing access specifically for Hampden County students.
More than three-quarters support requiring middle schools to give vocational-technical schools access for student outreach.
