Opinion Diagnostics conducted a poll of 638 likely Massachusetts voters for John Deaton's campaign for U.S. Senate.
Key findings
On the initial ballot, Senator Elizabeth Warren led Deaton 53% to 32%.
After voters heard information about both candidates, Warren's lead narrowed to 49% to 40%.
45% of voters had never heard of Deaton.
